“It all started in Padua, Italy, the crawl of craftsmanship and my home town. There is where I learned the how-to of tailoring and trained my eyes to the quality, while working with the most highly recommended fashion laboratories (for Gucci, Prada, Moncler, Cerruti). I realized that creative people often struggle with product development, and manufacturers do not have the ability to guide artistic minds. I wanted to help these two worlds to speak the same language, so MODA LAB was founded.”

Claudia started her career as a Pattern-maker & Prototype-maker over 11 years ago in 2009, and worked for successful fashion brands in Italy and UK, before moving to the States and founding Moda Lab, in 2016.

She takes care of Product development from concept to factory. She makes sure that the collection is well balanced, that every garment fits properly and that the production goes as planned. Claudia is the reference point for each client and truly puts her heart in every projects she works on.

Years of apprenticeship and hard work since 2000, between private labels and international brands like Massimo Dutti and Zara, have led Alessandra to widen her perspective as a stylist. The hands-on experience she gained in the process of developing a shoe (man, woman, kid) is wide and deep.

Alessandra is able to guide you from the initial idea of the shoe to the production, smoothly. She makes sure resources and materials allow you to make a profit, and works towards creating a high quality product with sustainability in mind. The strong connections she made with footwear suppliers around the world are extremely valuable when it comes to finding the right factory for you or a particular component for the product.
