At MODA LAB, our mission is to empower designers by transforming their creative visions into reality through our deep industry connections and extensive know-how.
Founded by Claudia Marzotto, a seasoned patternmaker and product developer, MODA LAB bridges the gap between designers and top-tier fashion artisans. Claudia’s journey began in Padova, Italy, where she saw firsthand the challenges faced by designers in finding the right factories and by factories in understanding designers’ needs. This inspired her to create MODA LAB—an international agency where creativity meets craftsmanship, in 2016, with the help of Alessandro Borella, IT specialist and Biz Dev with 25 years of experience in software development and management.
THE FOUNDERS
“ While working with renowned clothing laboratories as a pattern maker in Padova, Italy, I discovered a critical gap: designers often faced challenges connecting with suitable factories, and factories lacked the understanding to guide artistic visions.
Motivated by bridging this gap, I aimed to empower creative minds to craft masterpieces in those same factories where I learned the art of tailoring.
The solution was clear – create the connection between these two worlds. And thus, MODA LAB was born.”
